I look at payday as the time when I allow myself to buy something. I reward myself for clocking in and out with a gift. And like any good project, I have goals. My goal this pay period: nude heels. There are some really fab nude heels running around right now. They are like an illusion of a longer leg, a built in heel if you will, and the more strapiness the better. While these shoes aren't in my real budget, lets pretend they are. So, which do you pick?

Come In To My World, I've Got to Show You

For a long time, I have been totally obsessed with a certain pair of twins. Their total freedom with style has made me love these two since their original hair flip. There really is something to be said for their individual style and willingness to take risks. Mary-Kate is bringing back the 90's in such a rad way right now. And Ashley, she's just flawless.

"Sometimes I feel like I’m playing dress-up and becoming a character. It’s sort of like an art. It can change your mood or the way that people are attracted to you," Mary-Kate in Elle.

This is Not My Beautiful Wife

Permeating my thoughts and dreams, fashion and it's army, style, long ago infiltrated my life. I like to think of it as a disease, or a delineation of obsessive compulsive disorder. This is is my weight to carry. As a newly full-time employed,pretend adult, I am having visions of ways to spend my paychecks, to soothe my troubled mind. But with the paperwork filed and the new bills rolling in, I have realized my bump in pay will not net out to a spiked heel in my closet. So alas, it is here that I go to therapy. That I close my eyes and think, in another world, I am not wearing this Forever 21 plaid mess but the s/s '09 3.1 Phillip Lim Fringe Dress...And every thought is a song, because my life has a soundtrack.

Smells Like Rain

If only we all could be this wet and fabulous on a Sunday. It's raining in Chicago and my best attempt at style is my Hayden-Harnett for Target umbrella(if I even leave the house). I am hiding in my apartment today, watching bad movies and spooning with the dog. But I am dreaming about stomping around town in fierce pyramid heels undaunted by the weatherman.
